What do you want the students to learn?

 

• TLW be able to record distances (per mile) and ranges of various locations on our campus.
• TLW create a bar graph of the location elevations.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Set-up

 

• GPS, graph paper
• Marked locations with cones

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What steps will the students take?

 

• Students will find waypoints of areas related to science such as the pond; wetlands, woodlands, and grasslands.
• TLW find the range of the high elevation and low elevation.
